Cornus kousa 'China Girl' is a beautiful deciduous Dogwood offering interest across several seasons. In late spring to early summer, the branches become covered in large creamy-white flower bracts, creating an impressive display above fresh green foliage.

Unlike many flowering trees that put on a show for five minutes in spring and then quietly become green for the rest of the year, China Girl has a few more tricks lined up.

The flowers can be followed by unusual pink-red, strawberry-like ornamental fruits, while autumn brings another display as the foliage develops shades of red, orange, burgundy and purple before falling.

With an attractive branching habit and manageable size, China Girl makes an excellent feature tree for lawns, mixed borders, woodland-style gardens and smaller residential landscapes.
